Well, I felt like I needed a little boost in the hair department! So I decided to have a little fun and color my hair! It's nice for a change. Nothing makes a girl feel better, like a hair cut or a little color! I know, I know, I'm pregnant, but don't worry, It's Henna! It's all natural plant-based dye. No chemicals! Everyone knows Henna tattoos, but you can dye your hair with it, too! My friend Birdie came over to my house and put it in for me. She's an herbalist. She makes her own creams and herbal products and Hennas her own hair, so she knows what she's doing. This picture was taken the first day. It's actually a little darker now, not so rocker red! ;P What do you think? Can I carry the red? I've always loved red hair and admired anyone with gorgeous red locks! :)

ReplyDeleteIt looks great! And its funny that when your pregnant that's when a change seems to be needed most. I just recently colored my hair(to get rid of grey) and I went a little darker but I love it! Good for you!

ReplyDeleteIt looks awesome Erin!! It looks very natural! You really look radient. I love red hair, but every time I've done it, it only lasts a week at best. I'll have to try henna...maybe it will take better? I am so excited for your pregnancy, and I can't wait to see your new bundle of joy and follow your adventures in parenthood!! Take care!!

always wished I had red hair
and freckles lol. My husb is
from Scotland and I was amazed
at all of the different shades
of red hair I saw. Some so very
very dark brown but there was the
glistening of the red still..
now that was very beautiful.
So keep the red its quite
beautiful on you!
