Our Little Pumpkin
We brought our new baby girl home from the hospital Sunday night. We are happy to finally be home with her. We are all doing great. It's been a busy couple of days getting adjusted to taking care of our new addition, we still haven't figured it all out yet. We are a little tired but doing well! Thank you for all the well wishes, Everyone! I loved seeing all your comments! I appreciate all your support for the new baby and the upcoming book as well! :)

I think the best advice that I actually took during the first three months of having a new baby home is "sleep when the baby sleeps" and accept help with laundry, house chores, cooking, and stuff that really isn't top priority for you to be hands on with. Not that I'm close by, but if you need to email me for anything or have any questions - I usually always have my iphone on me… Marsha @ MarshaNealStudio.com (remove the spacing). You guys will do great!
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness she couldn't be any cuter.
ReplyDeleteseriously!
So very happy for you! She is beautiful and you are too!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Marsha... sleep when she sleeps! Don't even think about doing anything else. Housework will get done when it needs to get done by someone other than you. Cuddle her close and whisper sweet nothings in her ear and just love her to pieces.
Enjoy the day!
Erin
Awwwweeeee! Cute pics! Congrats again - she is beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pictures! Have a wonderful time getting to know your little pumpkin! :)
ReplyDeleteShe's adorable! Congrats and enjoy!
ReplyDeleteShe is so sweet! Congrats again.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Erin! She's just beautiful! What is her name?
ReplyDeleteShe's adorable! Congratulations to you both.
ReplyDeleteOh how beautiful she is! She looks just like her Mom. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteVery big congrats Erin, she's a cutie!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Erin! I remember with both of mine they were pretty subdued in the hospital (I guess recovering from the birth process). They decided to wake up about 10 days later when we were at home and I didn't have the helpful nurses around! I know you're glad that she's on the outside ... and all worries about having a healthy baby have been put to rest...
ReplyDeleteShe is so adorable Erin - congratulations to you. Just take each day step by step as it comes, and enjoy watching your little treasure grow. Vicki :)
ReplyDeleteOh she is the sweetest! Yep sleep when she does and everything else will work itself out! I am so happy for all three of you!
ReplyDeleteHugs and Kisses
She is so sweet! I love that look of a babies slightly open mouth. You all look well. Hey, my kids are all grown up and I'm still trying to figure it out :-) But that advice you've gotten sleep when baby does is the very best of all. Wishing you happiness!
ReplyDeleteShe's absolutely precious. I'm hoping you get sleep whenever you can find it, and that she never gets colic and takes to a swing or something similar for you so baths are a reality! Those were my two biggest prayers when I had Zack!

She looks so peaceful in these pictures. And I totally remember this feeling that you must feel right now. I am so happy for you. What's her name?
ReplyDeleteThe one recommendation I give to people with new babies is: buy a headset for your phone. Nothing more worth than having two hands free when all those people will call to ask how you are. :)
She's gorgeous! I hope when she gets bigger she loves beads as much as her mommy! And I have no advice for you because I have no kids and all my friends with babies are exhausted too, lol!
ReplyDeleteShe is just precious! She looks like you Erin. Enjoy every second!
ReplyDeletecongrats to you both; beautiful baby. Joan T
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. I may have missed this in a prior post, but what is her name?
ReplyDeleteOh, she is so precious and beautiful! You three look so happy together, and your new adventure begins. Like everyone said, sleep as much as you can and accept help with the chores. Looking forward to more pictures of your new pumpkin!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! She is beautiful. Have fun on your new journey!
ReplyDeleteWhat an absolute cutie!
ReplyDeleteRest as much as you can and remember the house will not fall apart if you skip chores.
CONGRATULATIONS, Erin!!! I am so excited for you...and Baby makes Three!!! :-) These are such happy days...you may be tired, but still so much fun none the less! I had 2 October birthdays so I took pictures with the little pumpkin hats as well - so cute! :-)

CONGRATULATIONS Erin!!! Your baby is gorgeous. I love the little orange hat and that you called her your little pumpkin in the post.. You look so lovely. I am very happy for you. I am sure you will settle in well. This is such a peak moment in your life and I am so happy you have shared it with us.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Erin!! She is a precious miracle from above. Enjoy every moment with her now. I know it is hard to believe now but take it from a Mom who is facing her baby girl's senior year in High School, They grow up so so very fast. One day you will find yourself feeling like you blinked and she is gone off to college.
ReplyDeleteOh I am truly happy for you! I so agree with Tracy: absorb every single moment you have with her now, they grow fast and these moments now are unique and unrepeatable, so let everything first she does be just for you and your hubby and others can enjoy the rest of the moments! Also agree with others: sleep when she sleeps and accept all the help that you can get. Sending you lots of hugs!

Congratulations, Beautiful baby girl!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Mom and Dad! She is adorable. I am sure you will both 'figure' it out as you go along. Best wishes on the journey, may it be filled with wonders!
